About Angela Towne

Angela Towne, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker, qualified supervisor, yoga instructor, and equine assisted psychotherapist with 28 years of counseling and training experience.

Angela provides support and encouragement to the LGBTQIA community, women, adolescents, veterans, couples, and groups. Treating conditions such as life transitions, stress, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues, depression, postpartum depression, addiction-related challenges, and eating disorders. 

Angela uses a holistic framework and a solution focused approach that is both action and process oriented. She empowers people who feel emotionally stuck to find their inner wisdom to heal and discover what they truly desire in their lives. As someone who is passionate about personal development, Angela's philosophy is that everyone has the right to reach their full potential. She strives to create a warm and collaborative environment. Teaching clients to respond rather than react to challenges, turn obstacles into opportunities and tap into their own healing energy to experience a more authentic life. 

Angela holds a Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University School of Social Work in Detroit, Michigan . She continually deepens her clinical skills and knowledge through personal development courses, ongoing training, yoga, and mindfulness practice. She is certified in Equine Experiential Learning and Psychotherapy and a student of Natural Lifemanship.
